About Us

Husband and Partners Architects was founded in April 2022, but our story began in 1986.

With decades of collective experience, our principal and core team have built a reputation for delivering residential architecture and interior design that combines creativity, technical expertise, and a genuine understanding of what our clients need.

We have completed projects across a diverse range—from private homes and residential developments to retail spaces, early years settings, and mixed-use schemes. While our portfolio includes work throughout the UK and overseas, we now focus primarily on London and the Home Counties, where we've developed particular expertise in residential, conservation, and mixed-use developments.

The Team

Nigel founded his first practice in 1989, following in the footsteps of his architect father. A Chartered Architect since 1987, he brings over 37 years of experience to every project, with particular expertise in maximising development potential on challenging and constrained sites.

Throughout his career, Nigel has remained connected to architectural education, serving as a Tutor and External Examiner at Kingston University School of Architecture and other institutions. His project experience spans numerous sectors, with a strong focus on residential and retail developments valued up to £30 million.

Passionate about sustainable design, Nigel has spent nearly two decades at the forefront of architectural innovation in the UK and internationally. He also contributes to his local community as a Councillor and Chair of Buckland Parish Council.

Nigel leads a talented team of qualified architects and interior designers, ensuring every project benefits from both his extensive experience and fresh creative thinking.
